The polishing process follows on from the lapping process and further enhances the final finish for mechanical and cosmetic purposes.
Polishing can be used for many purposes such as:
- Improving appearance and optical qualities
- Produce the best sealing surface
- Allow accurate measure of surface flatness
- Allowing efficient heat and electrical transfer
Using our range of polishing machines we offer a variety of surface finishes or can produce a mirror finish of 0.02µmRa.
At N L Roper & Sons Ltd we design and manufacture all our polishing machines in-house to ensure we have the best machine for the job. Our latest machine was completed and installed in October 2014.
